The Rx.com Mod Team has created this Service Play sub-forum in order to supply an area for Rx Service Play Posters to expand upon their posting topics without creating a logjam in the main forum where the three principle threads are maintained..

Posters can track services here if they care to but we will need any trackers to do so in an accurate and civil manner. We did not create this area for posters to ridicule or bash any services..

You can also discuss who is hot and who is not. The general state of the pay for plays industry and any other subject or topic related to service plays.

You can also create individual threads about specific services and discuss them freely but civilly. Again bashing and abusive treatment of any services will not be tolerated.

Please remember, this forum is not here for regular posters who cap their own games to post ther daily plays. Please use our individual sport forums to post your plays. Professional cappers (those that sell plays) must remain in the Site Promotion Forum.

The Rx.com will not tolerate posters that post false records of any services they track. Please be truthful if you decide to track a particular service.

Lastly The Rx Moderators are appealing to you our everyday posters to report any promotional threads or posts that are made by services or individual touts. No links or contact information to an individual service will be allowed. Just the name of the service. Please report any threads or posts that are promotional attempts by services and touts to use this forum to promote themselves..

Posters can easily report a promotional post by using the triangular Report-a-Post Icon at the bottom left of all post boxes. The poster name of any poster who reports a post that is out of line will be kept strictly confidential.

I will leave this thread open for a month to take questions and do my best to answer them. I will check in daily but am off on Wednesday and Thursday.

I hope this additional Service Play Forum will satisfy those posters that would like to widen the scope of topics relating to service plays and the industry in general to have their own threads. Mods will be liberal as possible regarding topics but this forum was specifically created to allow you more freedom to express your ideas regarding service plays and related subject matter. No off topic threads will be allowed.

Thank you, wilheim

Ice picks: Today's best NHL bets

Chicago Blackhawks at Philadelphia Flyers (-120, 5.5)

Sometimes the best way to get into an opponent’s head is keep quiet and frustrate the hell out of them with perfect execution.

And that’s exactly what Chris Pronger has done in the finals against Chicago.

The veteran defenseman agitated Blackhawks forward Dustin Byfuglien in front of the Philadelphia net in Game 3 enough to spur a reaction – a slash which drew a penalty.

"I don't know how he would be getting into our heads, whether it's vocally or whatnot," Jonathan Toews said. "He's not talking a lot out there. He's playing. He's doing his job the way he knows he can do it. So, I mean, he's just one player.”

The 36-year-old Pronger has logged heavy ice time in this series, playing at least 28 minutes in each of the three games. Chicago coach Joel Quenneville, who was with Pronger for eight seasons in St. Louis, believes the officials are looking the other way in certain situations instead of penalizing his former player.

"I think there's a couple for sure late in the game," Quenneville said. "There was one that got my attention. Whether it's stick use or obstruction, I think we'll keep an eye on it."

Whether intentional or not, Pronger has become the villain in this series and is clearly clouding the minds of the Blackhawks.

What bettors need to know: Blackhawks at Flyers

Chicago Blackhawks at Philadelphia Flyers (-120. 5.5)

Chicago leads series 2-1.Don’t call it a comeback

The Philadelphia Flyers turned heads earlier this postseason with an amazing comeback from 0-3 down to the Boston Bruins. As great as those four straight wins were, the Flyers would rather not have their backs against the wall, especially in the Stanley Cup Final.

Philadelphia is trailing the Chicago Blackhawks 2-1 in the final after taking a thrilling 4-3 overtime victory in Game 3 Wednesday night. Forward Claude Giroux netted the game-winning goal just under six minutes into the extra frame.

“Any time we face adversity, we find a way to get it done,” Giroux, who had struggled in Games 1 and 2 of the series told the Toronto Star.

“It was a big game for us. We really needed that win. I don’t think the guys wanted to come back again from being down 3-0.”

While the seventh-seeded Flyers are underdogs in the Cup final, they’ve been with the Blackhawks every step of the way. They lost 6-5 and 2-1 in the opening two games in Chicago, proving that they can hang with the second-seeded Blackhawks.

“I think he loosened up a bit,” Philadelphia coach Peter Laviolette said of Giroux. “You have to remember it’s the Stanley Cup finals. We talked about just lightening up a little bit. At this point of the year, you know what you have to do in order to be successful. There’s a lot of work. There’s a lot of intensity. There’s a lot of competitiveness in the battles.

“If you tighten up too much, you seize up a little bit. We talked about just having some fun tonight, come out and let everything roll. I think he took that advice because he was smiling all day. He came to the rink and went out and played a great game.”

The win also improved the Flyers’ record to 8-1 inside the Wachovia Center this postseason.

Boxed in

The Blackhawks need to find a balance between their trademark physical play and the costly penalties they took Wednesday night.

Chicago was whistled just three times in the entire game but the Flyers made the most of those man advantages, scoring twice on the power play. Daniel Briere opened scoring with a power-play goal in the first period and Scott Hartnell picked up another goal with Chicago in the box midway through the middle frame.

"We maybe took a few penalties that we shouldn't and that's maybe what cost us the game, too,” Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews told the CBC. "So we'll be smarter. We don't want to be that team - we've said all along we're going to be smart.

"We've seen other teams take stupid penalties against us, but we're not going to try and let them suck us into playing like that."

Philadelphia has one of the best power-play attacks this postseason, netting 10 goals on the man advantage for a 22.8 percent efficiency. It has scored four times on the power play this series.

"We were right there," Duncan Keith told the media. "We've got to learn what mistakes we did out there and basically it comes to staying out of the penalty box. We talk about that every day. Every day we talk about that and sooner or later we've got to put that in our heads."

Finishing strong

The Flyers have proved harder to kill than a horror movie villain this postseason. And it seems they save their best for last.

Philadelphia has dominated the third period in this series, outshooting Chicago 36-16 in the final frame. The past two games, the Flyers have put up 15 shots in the third to the Blackhawks' four. However, goal scoring in the third period is locked at 2-2.

"I thought we were pretty effective for the first 40 minutes," Chicago coach Joel Quenneville told reporters after Game 3’s loss. "We were pretty good at the start of the third when we scored, then they scored on the following shift.

"We spent a lot of time in our end, not as bad as last game. I thought in overtime we had a couple good looks to end it."

Hot Lines: Today's best MLB bets

San Diego Padres at Philadelphia Phillies (-200, 7.5)

The Phillies aren't just in a "slump" anymore; the offense has broken its back and completely fallen over. And it could be a mental thing.

"I don't see a young player on our roster,” manager Charlie Manuel said. “These guys have been around a long time. If they haven't learned something from their hitting by now, and they don't know some of the things that they do when they go bad…it's up to you to master your hitting.

"I see a whole lot of cockiness and big-headedness and complacency," he added.

Philadelphia has scored just 14 runs in its last 11 games, losing nine of those contests and getting shut out in five. The heart of the team’s lineup (Chase Utley, Ryan Howard and Jayson Werth) has registered five RBIs during the slide.

Fortunately for the Phils in this matchup, they may only need to squeak out one run to get the win. Roy Halladay is making his first start since a perfect game last Saturday and the Padres have never faced him before.

Pick: UnderBoston Red Sox at Baltimore Orioles (+165, 9)

Reports have surfaced that Baltimore manager Dave Trembley will be removed from his position before Friday’s game against Boston. And some of the players are not too pleased about it.

"We're the ones that throw the ball, we are the ones that swing the bats and catch the ball," Luke Scott said. "All the manager can do is put his best nine out there. I mean, it's not his fault.”

"We haven't played good," veteran Kevin Millwood said. "I don't see it. I don't see how most of that is [Trembley's] fault."

The O’s hold the worst record in baseball (15-39) and have dropped eight straight, getting outscored 47-14 in that stretch.

Boston got swept by Baltimore in early May so look for the BoSox to save a little face in this series. They will send Clay Buchholz to the hill and the team is 4-0 in his last four starts.

Pick: Red Sox

Streaking and Slumping Pitchers

Streaking

Clay Buchholz (7-3, 2.73), Boston Red Sox

After giving up nine earned runs in his first two May starts, Buchholz has only surrendered four runs in four games since. Buchholz and the Sox went 4-0 in those games.

In his last outing, Buchholz outdueled Royals ace Zack Grienke after 7.0 innings of four-hit ball in the 1-0 victory.

“We matched up against a guy who was on top of his game and is one of the best pitchers in the American League,” Kansas City manager Ned Yost said.

“I think it’s just the natural progression of a real good pitcher,” said Terry Francona of Buchholz, who is 3-0 with a 1.32 ERA in his last three outings.

Mat Latos (5-3, 3.08), San Diego Padres

If the Padres are going to beat Roy Halladay on Friday, this guy may give them the best chance to do so.

Latos has a streak of six straight quality starts and shut out the opposition twice in that span. San Diego is 4-0 in his last five outings.

“He’s a big kid with a big arm and tons of talent,” Giants manager Bruce Bochy said after Latos threw a complete game, one-hit shutout against his team. “He had good command of all his pitches and he showed good poise, too.

The Phillies lineup has never seen Latos and that situation usually benefits the pitcher.

Slumping

Dallas Braden (4-5, 3.60), Oakland Athletics

Since dealing a perfect game on May 9, the A’s lefty is 0-3 with a 4.13 ERA in four starts.

Braden was removed early from one of those outings because of the flu, but the lingering illness may still be affecting his performance as he yielded 11 hits and five earned runs in his next start.

“They got the leadoff hitter on in every inning and scored in all but one of them,” Braden said after the game. “I’m not a math major, but that doesn’t seem good for me.”

Returning

Carlos Zambrano (1-3, 6.12), Chicago Cubs

Big Z will climb onto the mound in a starter’s role for the first time since April 20 on Tuesday. He was scheduled to return to action Wednesday but his start got bumped to today.

Chicago’s former ace of the staff, Zambrano was demoted to the bullpen after going 1-2 with a 7.45 ERA to start the season.

"He should be able to go six innings, 90 pitches," manager Lou Piniella said. "We'd be very pleased with that -- a nice sharp, crisp performance and then build him up from there."

Zambrano didn’t exactly earn his way back into the rotation with quality work out of the pen. The right-hander was 0-1 with a 4.15 ERA in 13 relief appearances so who knows what to expect Friday. He hasn’t thrown more than 35 pitches in a game in six weeks.

Lady Luck: Today's WNBA best bets

Minnesota Lynx at Tulsa Shock (-3.5, 169)

Behaving badly isn’t just reserved for the NBA’s bad boys.

The WNBA has its fair share of wild girls, including Tulsa Shock starting guard Alexis Hornbuckle, who will miss Friday’s matchup with Minnesota after being suspended two games by the league.

Hornbuckle was suspended after being charged for a DUI which happened back in Detroit last year. She will miss Friday and Saturday’s game in Chicago. She is averaging more than five points, three assists and three rebounds per game this season.

“Alexis was back for the end of practice (on Wednesday),” Shock coach Nolan Richardson told Tulsa World. “She thanked me for being understanding for what had happened before the team moved to Tulsa. She was happy to be back working out with the team.”

The absence of Hornbuckle leaves the Shock with just four guards for this weekend’s double-header. Scholanda Robinson, Shanna Crossley, Natasha Lacy and Marion Jones round out the Tulsa backcourt that faces a Lynx squad coming off a huge win over the defending champion Phoenix Mercury earlier this week.

Pick: Minnesota

Chicago Sky at Atlanta Dream (-6.5, 160.5)

A tough road schedule finally caught up with the Atlanta Dream Tuesday.

The Dream dropped their first game of the season, 90-72, to the Seattle Storm, closing a four-game road stretch at 3-1 straight up and against the spread. Atlanta, which ranks second in the WNBA in scoring (84.7 points per game), shot just under 36 percent from the field and managed only 27 points in the first half.

"It was just one of those days when things didn't go our way," Dream forward Angel McCoughtry told reporters following the loss. "But at the same time, we've got to learn how to play through it. We were just getting by, 6-and-0, winning -- we were feeling good. This is a humbling experience for us."

While the trip home is a welcome thought for Atlanta, their opponent Friday has had their number in recent meetings. The Sky have knocked off the Dream in four straight meetings and own a 6-1 record against the franchise, covering in six of those seven contests.

Pick: Chicago

WNBA NEWS AND NOTES
Looking Out For WNBA Betting Odds

Odds

WNBA odds have a secret and this is that the less the oddsmaker knows about something the better chance you have and that is the case when you are betting on WNBA games.

WNBA odds don’t get that much attention at the sportsbook because women’s basketball is not heavily followed. If you are betting on WNBA action there are a few things to remember. Unlike other sports, almost all of the people betting on WNBA games are wise guys. They move the line and if you follow their lead you have a chance to beat the WNBA odds.

Most of the time if you follow line moves at the online sportsbook you are going to lose money but that is not the case with WNBA odds.

These moves are bigger winners than in other sports so you really want to look at betting on WNBA action. That is perhaps because the WNBA is easier to handicap than other sports like the NFL or NBA. The sportsbook is also slower to move the WNBA odds and that helps. It also helps that the WNBA odds maker simply doesn’t put much time into making the lines. In other sports that is not the case but when you get limited action there is less incentive to put in the time to handicap the games.

Watching games

Another way to beat the WNBA odds is to watch the games. And not many people are doing that. The more games you watch, the better you will understand the team and the sport and the WNBA odds at the online sportsbook. That makes you a better handicapper when looking at WNBA odds. You can watch some of the games on ESPN and oftentimes you can catch additional games on other regional networks.

If you had not considered WNBA odds you might want to think about them. It gets tough to beat the NFL betting odds or other popular sportsbook odds. Sports that go under the radar like WNBA odds can be easier to beat. The more of an expert you can be on betting a sport that gets less attention, the better your chances of winning money will be. Take a look at betting on WNBA action and get ready to win money this season.

AFL NEWS AND NOTES
Arena Football On The NFL Network: Jacksonville At Chicago

Jacksonville Sharks at Chicago Rush (-5.5), 8 p.m. ET

The NFL Network will showcase the third and fourth-ranked teams from the AFL Coaches’ Poll in this Friday’s Game of the Week.

The Rush (6-2 SU, 4-4 ATS) come into this matchup on a two-game winning streak after squeaking out a victory in Cleveland last Saturday. Chicago’s Chris Martin returned a kickoff 57 yards with 14 seconds left which proved to be the game-winning touchdown.

Jacksonville (6-2 SU, 4-4 ATS) was humbled in Spokane last week as the Shock hung 67 points on the team’s league-leading defense, never failing to score a touchdown after the opening drive. The Sharks are led by one of the most prolific signal-callers to ever step on the indoor turf in Aaron Garcia.

Up in the air

Jacksonville could be road weary heading into this game.

The team made the longest road trip of any squad this season last weekend, traveling 2,243 miles to Washington State.

The Sharks flew home from that game Sunday, had an off-day Monday, practiced Tuesday and Wednesday and then hopped on a flight Thursday morning to Chicago – a 1,000-mile trek.

Jacksonville will hold an evening practice in Chicago Thursday night and then have a walk-through in preparation for the game at Allstate Arena Friday morning.

Mt. Rush-more

Chicago started the season 4-0, dropped two straight decisions and now has won two games, but head coach Mike Hohensee doesn’t believe this team has reached its peak.

“I really don’t think we’ve played our best game yet, our best football is ahead of us,” he said. “We’re very young in a lot of areas and still growing as far as a team goes.”

Hohensee explained that many of the younger players are still learning the nuances of the indoor game. He added that two of the team’s receivers and one offensive lineman had never played arena football before this season, but they come ready to learn and play every day.

“We haven’t had a bad practice yet. The team is great at preparation,” he said.

On the defense

These squads boast the top defensive units in the AFL. Jacksonville holds opponents to an average of 49.4 points per game while the Rush surrender 51.1 points per outing.

Led by linebacker RaJohn Myles (4.0 sacks), the Sharks’ front four has registered 12.0 sacks this season and coach Hohensee understands it will be a challenge for his blockers to keep quarterback Russ Michna upright, but he doesn’t plan on altering any of the schemes.

“We don’t plan on changing what we do,” he stated. “What we do is pretty diverse, you can’t just focus on the downfield pass or even the short pass because we have a tight end and fullback and we give you a lot to think about. So I don’t think we’re going to keep an extra receiver back for protection. They are going to get a rush; it’s just a matter of how we handle it.”

Chicago’s offensive plays totals have been down each of the last two games. Last week, the team recorded 38 plays from scrimmage and the game prior only 43. This tactic could be a discreet way for the Rush to control the clock and rely on its defense.

So with two great defenses and efficient but not desperate offenses, this game could be a much slower-paced affair than most Arena Football shootouts.

Injury report

Chicago’s third-leading receiver Kenny Higgins was inactive for last week’s game after suffering a leg injury in practice. Allen Turner replaced him in the contest and caught five passes for 87 yards and a score. Hohensee said Higgins and a few other players are day-to-day going into Friday.

“We really could be decimated a little bit going into this football game,” he admitted.

Jacksonville placed wideout Sale Key on injured reserve prior to last week’s loss. The team did return Jason Willis from a broken arm to somewhat alleviate Key’s absence and Jeron Harvey rose to the occasion by hauling in three touchdowns.

Sharks defensive back Micheaux Robinson will be a game-time decision with a sprained knee.

Trends, notes and stats

- This is the first meeting ever between Chicago and Jacksonville.

- The Sharks are 2-2 ATS on the road this season.

- Chicago is 2-1 SU but 0-3 ATS at home in 2010.

- The Rush hold a 49-20 all-time record at Allstate Arena (including postseason).

- Chicago added defensive lineman Quartez Vickerson in a trade with Oklahoma City this week. Vickerson appeared in four games for OKC this season, recording six tackles and 2.0 sacks.

- Jacksonville ranks 11th in the AFL in scoring (53.6 ppg) while the Rush rank seventh (55.8 ppg).

- The Sharks lead the league in third down conversion rating at 57.1 percent.

STUMPTHESPREAD

Detroit Tigers vs. Kansas City Royals

The Tigers have shown that they are an extremely classy organization in how they have handled the Galarraga perfect game situation and I believe this will unite the team and ignite them into a nice run. It already showed in Thursdays game as they erupted for 12 runs against the Indians. I think the imperfect game will be the greatest thing for this team as it has given them a rallying point going forward. Scherzer will be on the mound for the Tigers in this one and in his last 3 games against the Royals he has only given up 7 runs in 17 innings pitched. The Royals are also in a slump right now loosing 4 of their last 5 games and slipping out of contention in the AL Central.

Jr. O'Donnell (RedZone Sports) free internet play:

The Phillies have only plated 3 runs or less for over 10 games now and we're shut out, that's right a goose egg for 1/2 of them boys , wow! Roy Mr. Perfect will be back at it tonight as the Padres will struggle to plate any runs vs. the Rock Halladay and his .199 ERA. The Padres have has solid pitching and the Latos from the Padres is on a 5-3 run and a super strong run .308 ERA. He is also on a nice streak holding opponents to 2 or less runs the last 6 games. The Padres bullpen is also doing great this season, ranked in the top 5 @ 2.88 ERA. All systems are go tonight from JR O as the Under 7.5 is the sharp play tonight on the June 4th's diamond.

Hondo

In the words of Simon Cowell: That was appalling! The American Idle hit a sour note for the Twins last night in Seattle, which again left Hondo singing the blues about being in the red.

Tonight, with 760 amalfitanos owed, Mr. Aitch will side with A.A. Sanchez over R.A. Dickey -- 10 units on the Marlins.
